Slowly returning
"Did you hear what I heard? No way it can be true! It is, though! I just heard it! Book of Change is beginning to make a come back!" That's right, you heard correctly. We here at Book of Change are pleased to say we have a strong hope that we will be coming back soon. In the next week I will be moving back to my parents' house (I'm currently living with my sister who has no idea I'm trans-sexual). The move will only take a day...a maximum of about 2 hours...though I do have to work, and odds are good that I'll be moving then heading to work, sadly. Either way, that is my plans for Saturday.
We will be running "new comics" in the next week...they are both auditions sent to us by TR. This does NOT mean, however, that we have an artist yet. These are audition drawings ONLY and if anyone thinks they can do better, auditions end on March 7, so if you want a shot at being artist for Book of Change, get your stuff in before then. Auditions close on March 8, 12:00 AM EST (which is my local time). Any auditions sent after will not be accepted.
ALL auditions, I repeat ALL auditions WILL be posted up on this site. The best audition will become the main artist, the rest will be placed as back-up artists should the main artist feel the need to drop out at any point. They will continue from the last posted comic, and we hope this to be our final re-write of the prologue and restart. Until then, however, the comic is still going up in script form on deviantart, and may be found here: http://emilyanncoons.deviantart.com/gallery/#Book-of-Change Those posted on Deviantart shall stay there, but will also be remade into actual comics. This will (hopefully) allow for a buffer, as I will not begin posting actual comics up for a while after the auditions close.
With that, I'd like everyone to keep in mind. Descriptions of the characters may be found in 0-1 on my deviantart page. The style, in no way, has to resemble the past comics or any of the other styles posted during audition time. So, with 2 weeks to get something in, I suggest working hard and sending something in. All it has to be is an image of the three characters. From there, you are free to send in anything you feel you want to use to "introduce yourself" to the readers. Your introduction will not be counted in auditions, however, just your character sheets.
With that said, I hope that Book of Change can begin posting again in comic form soon. If it doesn't, however, feel free to continue reading it on deviantart.
