A-NOTHER News Post?
Yeap, another news post. Today, I am going to go ahead and let all of our fans know of something important. Before, Book of Change has been labeled as a "WEB-14" comic, due to mild swearing and so forth. Due to the nature of future Book of Change comics, we are going to go ahead and jump up the rating to an 18+ comic.
Why the change? First off, I, Emily_Konichi, feel the need to become "more unique" and form my own opinion on what is and isn't allowed in my own comic. To this degree, since I have NO problem with swearing of ANY form, I am now tearing down our current word filters, meaning there will be some heavy, adult language in the comic now.
Secondly (although more a part of the first point), to continue in the "forming my own opinion" thing, I have also decided to change some other standards of the comic. That is to say, you can be expecting more adult-oriented things occurring later on in the comic. While I do not believe this to mean "complete and total, open, visual sex" it currently means "there may be nudity, and, while there MAY be sex, it will probably be covered for now. We will see what happens down the road." To help make this point, I have asked Freerefill to make some changes to my avatar. You will be seeing them once the current arc for Inter Nos ends, and the next arc begins.
On a final note (I think), Inter Nos will now officially be labeled as our "Intermission comics" by that, I mean that you will be seeing Inter Nos comics between chapters (mainly to give time for TR to build a buffer of the next chapter, but also to let us speak on occasion about whatever). Also, the current conditions of the main comic are unknown at this time, but chances seem good that we will not be continuing with the Main Comic itself until sometime after the beginning of November. We apologize for this inconvenience, but with stress building up, TR has been unable to work on the comic at all as of late.
We will keep you posted on the condition of the Book of Change buffer, and when we are ready to return with the main comic, we will let you all know. For now, however, we apologize for all of the fillers, and we hope you stick with us. After all, this is still our first year, and we have to work on pulling out all the "bugs" in the system.
Oh, on a final note (this time for sure!), I am currently working on an idea to add a "story form" to each of the comics. i.e. all the comics will be in both comic and story form, allowing the reader to not only see what is happening, but also read a somewhat "expanded" form of each comic (basically, some comics may have slight differences from the stories, such as certain things being said that aren't in the comic, or emotions not being portrayed in the comic, etc.). So, we hope you all enjoy it, and we hope to have the story form of all the current comics up by the end of September (depends on what I have off of work to work on it ><;; )
