Book of Change - On Hiatus Updates

So, figured I'd drop a line to let people know our status on the hiatus. We are still working to bring Book of Change back, but we will be changing some of the plot of the story, along with its name. With the return will once again be a reboot to the comic (I know, it's getting tedious how much we reboot, isn't it?) but the hope is this will be the last time we need to. There are a lot of plotholes in the old comics that need to be fixed, so we will be doing so. I may have found an artist for the comic, but I won't say anything more about that until I'm 100% sure everything is going to work out (as in, we're ready to update again). I'll leave a new post when more news is available.

News � Hiatus "Status"

So, we here at Book of Change don't really have the best news...we're still on Hiatus, and may be for quite some time. It is possible this may turn into a permanent hiatus, only cancelling when I finally learn to draw. On that note, if anyone knows how to draw, please let me know, I would love to learn, but I can't learn by myself. I need someone to help show me what to do.

On a second note: I am planning on making a Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker webcomic as soon as I find an artist for it. I have contacted 2, but so far I haven't gotten much from them. So, I'm leaving this out for anyone to see and read: If you can draw and want to work on the comic, let me know. I am going for a more realistic feel, so if you can't do the cartoony style of the game that's perfectly fine, I don't want it cartoony anyway.

As a final note, we have a makeshift chat system up now. You can click the "chat" link above and go to the chatroom for Book of Change. Feel free to chat there to help us show that you're still around! (I doubt anyone is though)

News � Ask Jeremy Forum

Hello, everyone. I figured I'd drop a news post to inform all of you that I've added a new forum to the message board. Hop over to the Comic Debate and Discussion forum and you'll see a forum where you can now ask Jeremy Seaborn (the main character of the comic) any questions you'd like. He'll answer any questions you have. Though he won't be answering any plot questions, he can answer any questions you want to know about him. So, feel free to drop him a line, and he'll responded as quickly as he can.

Also, we are still looking into the possibility of coming off of hiatus sometime in the next month or so, so keep tuned, and we'll have more for you as it arrives ^^

News � Book of Change's Nightmare Contest

We here at Book of Change are now running a "contest" of sorts. With the comic getting ready to start back up (again, probably sometime in January) and with the Prologue coming to an end soon after, we need creatures to appear in Chapter 1. For those who read the Book of Change scripts that were up on my Deviantart, you know that we will be introducing a race of creatures called "Nightmares" in the next chapter. For those who didn't, well, now you know :P

Anyway, we need ideas for the Nightmares. They need to be nasty monsters. Scary, dangerous, and grotesque. So, we would like to ask for any of you to send in your descriptions, drawings, etc. of a Nightmare of your own design. 4 grand winners will get their Nightmare posted in the webcomic at some point in chapter 1, and may have their Nightmare become a regular in the series. So, feel free to send them in, simply post your description, a link to the art, or whatever you can do into the comic entitled "Nightmare Contest". Guests are free to join as well, you can post in the comments as well, but if you don't have a Smack Jeeves account, please give us a username (or real name) to use should you win.

News � New forum...apparently...

So, I hopped online today to check the forum and what do I find? The entire thing had been converted to a zeta board! I told it to convert about 2 months ago, and it hadn't, so I figured maybe it hadn't gone through, and thus just gave up. Turns out, it just hadn't converted yet, and just finished sometime in the last week or so (I haven't been on in a week or so >>;; ). So, anyway, the forums have changed. I think the old link to it still works (the invisionfree one) since that's how I found it, but I'd recommend changing your bookmarks and such just in case.

I changed the link above so that it would have the new zeta board URL to it instead. Everyone's accounts are still set up, so feel free to hop on at any time.

Also, on a minor side note, we may be switching over to Comic Genesis once we start back up again. More details to follow as our return nears.

News � BoC Temporary Hiatus...unless updated...

Okay, so, Freerefill hasn't worked on any more of the Inter Nos series so far...so we currently have no more comics to post up. However, TR is working on the Book of Change comics themselves, and so we are hoping to return with Book of Change itself sometime within the next month. We may wait until after January, but we haven't decided yet. Depends on the buffer we build up, and how quickly we build it up. If you see an update, however, then it will probably be Inter Nos or filler. I plan to post an update once we're back.
